ABOUT

Korean food, with the context intact

Your K-Food is an independent English-language guide to Korean dishes. We select recipes with genuine value for global cooks and explain them without losing the Korean names, flavors, or stories that make them distinctive.

What makes the cut?

Traditional Korean food, everyday home cooking, dishes built around Korean fermented sauces, and Korean-inspired ideas likely to interest cooks abroad. Restaurant visits, tastings, product placements, and recipes that cannot be safely verified are excluded.

Why we exist

A literal translation is rarely enough. We add US and metric measures, realistic substitutions, Korean pantry explanations, cultural background, serving ideas, spice guidance, and storage notes—everything an international cook needs to succeed.
